Hosts, Directors and VP

Hi Mel,
I'll be heading out to MS in about an hour for the basketball game and stay over until tomorrow. We'll shop and spend that $500 gas card. I'm still looking for my first royal of the year at MS.

Glad you enjoyed the concert. Was the George Benson concert a private mailer that went out a while ago? I seem to remember seeing something in the mail but it isn't listed on-line.

The host info is interesting. Do you always go through your host for reservations? I usually only e-mail my host to confirm concerts when they are first listed on line and also book the room and dinner through e-mail. In the past, I would get closed out of the best concerts if I waited for the invite. The weekly mailers this month are a big improvement. Did you get the gift givaway mailer for 9/25? It has a choice of some nice gifts or a $500 gift card. Nobody else on-line mentioned it. I have no idea how I qualified for it unless it is net loss for the year since I'm having a terrible year VP wise.

Hi Joel,

The George Benson show was a private mailer but I booked it thru my
host as soon as I got it. It wasn't listed on the web site and the
bartenders I spoke to didn't even know about it. I email my host as
soon as I see a show listed on their web site to make sure I get
tickets. I do the same with rooms. We usually eat at the Cove which
doesn't take reservations. The only show we couldn't get was Buffet.
I didn't get the extra gift card but my host said I would get a
strong offer at Christmas. We are off to Vegas on Thurs to visit our
Daughter and then to Palm desert the beginning of Oct so we won't be
back to MS till the end of Oct but I will email you when I know
when it is. My wife loves the shops even though she is getting
killed in VP. I have hit two royals this year so I am helping to
keep us afloat. We are golfers and have gotten clubs, shoes and lots
of other things. Their prices are about 15% too high but it is all
for free and the place is nearby.
