I don't seem to have much luck with e-mails sent to casino hosts. I
prfer to introduce myself by e-mail rather than cold call someone out
of the blue. My intro is a means to ask about consideration for a
future stay which is not surprising. It always takes multiple days for
any kind of response, sometimes as long as a week, sometimes not at
all. In my view, an e-mail is like a phone call in a professional
environment. I know that spam e-mails are a big danger and opening
unrecognizable mail poses a risk, so maybe filters remove some legit
stuff from the host's mailbox. So, I guess what I am really asking
is...
How long would you wait to hear back from a casino host? Am I being
impatient? Should a phone call follow-up the e-mail after a week? If
I need to phone, maybe I should have started that way?
