I haven’t been there personally this winter, but all the reports I’ve heard (mostly on this list) are that the “upgrades” are in fact downgrades from the player’s perspective – unless a shiny new machine is more important to you than a good paytable. Horseshoe Hammond did the same thing about a month earlier – but there are still a few playable machines there (compared to hundreds previously).

We are going to Horseshoe SI and I heard they have 200 new machines. Did they get rid of all the good VP there or are there still some left?

I can confirm that the pay tables are down graded. There use to be many 99% machines now they are few and far between. As far as the casino claiming upgrades there are a lot more of the new bonus type games.
