Horseshoe/Sam's Town

Hi!

After about a year's hiatus, we will be returning to Horseshoe, Bossier City next month.

Since we recently became "sapphire" with the b-connected slot club, we thought we might check out Sam's Town in Shreveport as well. What is the consensus of opinions on the restaurants and the buffet at Sam's Town?

Also, what is their policy with respect to using points for meals? Is it just a straight 600 points per $1 (like it is at Gold Coast in Las Vegas) or do they have specific point costs for the buffet, depending on meal and day (like it is at Sam's Town in Las Vegas)?

Hey BL,
We haven't been in a long but have always loved the William "B's" Rest. and really enjoyed the staff. I say, ask for Henry section, he was alway a great waiter there....(fun too!), if he still is there? We don't play there and without a comp of some kind we consider it too expensive. This opinion was from a long time ago, ( under Harrah rule, etc.) so it is not current.
