W2G wins will be subject to a 3.4% withholding for IN income tax. (Not nettable against losses unless declaring as a professional gambler.) Usually depending on your home state, you must show this as income but can take a tax credit equal to the lower of your home state rate or the total tax paid to IN. (You will need to fill out the IN non-resident return.) I did generate a $2,072 win one month ago today and received a check for $2,001.56. I have never been to that house but the other IN Horseshoe in Gary just started hitting soft 17 (Ditto at the Majestic Star which I am the vpFree monitor for.)

The buffet quality is good with a large variety of available choices. The sandwich shops leave a lot to be desired....eat hotel side and avoid the "snack" areas on the boat. The walk from the hotel to the casino is LONG. Be prepared....it's a solid 10 minute hoof. They do have golf carts that run from the hotel to the casino taking 4 guests per trip (no charge, tips accepted and funny to see a golf cart zooming down the hallway). Some playable VP and very nice blackjack with lower minimums and descent games. I have not had a w2g there in a couple of years but the last one (2K) was paid in full with no deductions. Do not take this as gospel since a sizeable time has passed and things may have changed. If there are any specific questions you have feel free to email us.
