Just got the December coupons from Horizon. The mailer says "25%
more cash back", "Earn points faster", "99% payback on video
poker". They cut the points for VP by half a few months ago and
most of the machines were empty, even the 99.99% JOB 4700. So they
might have loosened up again, but the 99% sounds like they might
have dropped the JOB. Going at the end of the month and will give a
report then.
I was planning on using my SL $125/300pts coupon 11/29 (thrs) & 12/2
(sun), but now I get an invitation to "Mystery Party Weekend" 11/30-
12/2. They do not let you use the coupon during "special" events,
so I will have to get all the points in a few hours before midnight
thursday. Anyone had experience with the coupon being denied during
special events?
By going to Tahoe/Reno over the month end I am getting the following:
$40 free play at Horizon + $20 food credit, $15 cash Harrahs Tahoe,
$40 free play at Circus, $20 free play at Harrahs Reno + $20 food
credit + VP tourny + 2 nights free, $125 at SL + party, Buffet at
Eldorado. Eldorado is also having a special event (some
convention?) so its coupon is also in doubt-- they had no free rooms.
