Hooters promotion...

I know that this has been written about in the past month or so. I
received a mailer from Hooters about 2 weeks ago and it courted
Silverton players. They free slot play ranged from $100 to $500
depending on the level at the Silverton. Since I'm diamond at
Silverton, I would get the maximum.

I went to the booth, got my $500 slot play coupon, 2 tix to Bobby
Slayton as well as 2 to Anthony Cools. The offer also includes dinner
for 2 to Dan Marino's Rib Joint. Not too bad. Tried my luck on
their "promotional slot machines" and got nothing. Cash is awarded on
the top 2 awards as well as getting 1700 accumulated slots credits. So
either it was $1000, $100 or $50. Waste of time, but at least I got a
free dinner out of it. Has anyone tried Marino's? Please respond.

I have participated in their free slot play promotion in
November ($300), December ($200), and this month ($200).
I also got offers in the mail for $200 each month for February
and March. The amount of free play is misleading, as the
promotion is on $2 machines. Prior to this month, these
promotional machines allowed you to bet one or two coins
per spin. And, you could win the top award even with one
coin bet. So, I was betting one coin at a time, sometimes
two coins, to get more chances at winning anything. But,
now these machines have only one button ("max bet").
Thus, each bet is $4 of your "free play."

I have not won anything, yet. But, I still have two more chances!

I think that GimmeaQuad made a mistake about the show
tickets. Anthony Cools is performing at Paris - not Hooters.
Gerry McCambridge "The Mentalist" is the show that
I got free tickets to see. There were 61 people in the
audience on a Friday night. It's an 'okay' show, but I
wouldn't suggest paying for it.
