The machines that have been downgraded are located up by the table games. So
far it amounts to 10 machines. There are many machines in the back still
with 10-6 DDB and 9-6 JOB at the $1 level. My concern is whether this is
just a start or test to see if there are enough players out there who will
play the lower pay tables.
Thanks for following up spartanbuckeye! Go bucks!

Subject: [vpFREE] Re: Hollywood Lawrenceburg downgrades DDB
I finally visited Hollywood last night after hearing of these downgrades.
While the progressive $1 9/6 JoB is totally gone, a good number of the $1/$2
machine still have 10/6/40 DDB and 9/6 JoB. I did not bother to count them
all so I can't say for certain that the majority have been downgraded, but
it is still quite easy to find a good game. Often a 10/6/40 DDB pay table
will be adjacent to a 9/5 DDB pay table. Single line $5 NSUD and 9/6 JoB
remain intact in the HL room.

I have not been there in the last week to see this first hand, but your
report is consistent with what a friend of mine told me earlier. I also
heard the 9/6 Jacks are gone and in particular the 9/6 on the progressive
that often went positive (managed to hit that north of $6000 twice).
I guess my last duty as casino monitor will be to stop by for myself,
verify that the entire data base is now obsolete and close up shop. No
reason to visit Hollywood anymore other than to drain the comp balance.

spoken to both my host and her boss about the change. Unfortunately, neither
one understood what I was talking about. I have also written e mail to
management telling them that I refuse to play a V/P game with no opportunity
to win. Hopefully, other players will voice their dissatisfaction as well
and refuse to play those machines. I doubt if it will do any good but it is
worth a try.
