Absolutely NOT!!! With the exception of the special drawings, the normal daily prizes are $100 per hour with a voucher for two airfares given away once per day.
Entries into the grand prize drawing are based on play.
Last year they gave away a $250,000 grand prize with a similar drawing but had $1 progressives including NSUD available (The 25c progressives included IL deuces). Now Nothing above 98%. From their past tendencies, I consider this a "bait and switch" house. (A couple of years ago they put out 25c 10 plays with NSUD. Grochowski wrote about them in the Sun-Times but by then the games were all ready gone. I reported the change to him and he then printed a retraction.)
I do not know where you live, but if you do not need progressives, then go to the Buffington Harbor dock at Gary IN and play the Majestic Star or Trump. Over 200 full pay machines available there!! Majestic Star is having a similar drawing based on play with a $100,000 grand prize delivered to the winner by Mike Ditka. At the Majestic Star, EVERY IGT and LED machine (over 100 of them) has at least one full pay game.

Subject: [vpFREE_Chicago] Hollywood Casino $275,000 Giveaway
The grand prize is $100,000 and to enter one must join their
Player's Club. I noticed that Hollywood's Video Poker selection is
bad. I probably would not go there on a regular basis. Is it worth
the $5 admission and $2 parking fee to go to Hollywood Casino in
Aurora for their $275,000 giveaway game?
