Holding Machines

Hi Mel,
I've never seen them shut down a machine at MS for a player. If I see it happen, I'll e-mail my host to let her know that with so few $1 pick-ems, they should reconsider their policy of shutting the machine down..

Hi,
I noticed something interesting at MS when I was there this weekend. I
went to play PE early Saturday and saw that one of the machines was
disabled. While talking to one of the regular PE players she said that
someone was playing that machine for about 10 hours and lost about 3G.
He asked his host to disable the machine so he could take a nap and
then have the machine back when he was ready to play. I couldn't
believe they would do that so I emailed my host who told me that under
some circumstances they will do that for a high roller (my wife and I
didn't fit that criteria as I was just curious. Has any one else had
this happen while they were playing

BTW, until the machines were downgraded, they were reguarly shut down
in the hight roller area also...
Also, in theory, Sachem card holders can ask for a machine reserved
for them BEFORE they arrive.
