You're referring to Rob "Singer's" 4th card flipover experiment. The only controlled published recorded event of this took place last year with Rob and the webmaster of videopoker.com. The results, albeit a small sample, were well within the statistical parameters. Rob Singer's proposed equal rank of the 4th card flipover takes place 40% of the time which is just a fairytale. The actual rate is appr 6%. Michal Shackleford on his wizardofodds.com site did a column on this and Rob Singer.
