Hold Em Hurdle

Hi Weepstah:
Thanks for the congrats. You're right, it's a real grind to go that deep into
a tourney (I played for 12 1/2 hours) and was happy to discover that I could
still handle a marathon like that. I'm 63 now and had a few questions about my
stamina while playing against all the 20-something computer whizzes out
there. But, I was very pleased with the way I performed physically and mentally. I
think part of it is that I've been playing Hold 'Em for over 35 years and just
love the game!
As far as Harrah's AC goes, there is one bank of five Multi-Game machines
near the FantaSea Reef buffet with 9/6 JOB in quarters, halves and dollars. There
is another set of four machines with 9/6 JOB only in the Diamond Cove with $1
and $2 options. And a third set of slant-tops (four) near the escalator to
the parking garage with JOB at the $1, $2 and $5 levels.
There are also many machines scattered around with quarter DBDJ. Some are
across from the Total Rewards desk and there are others in the same area as the
first bank I mentioned.
Harrah's is also offering triple cashback right now, through Dec. 24.
Good luck!!
Regards,
CoachVee (Tom V) & Hedy

<CoachVee,

<Congrats on the strong showing in the poker tourney! I think one thing
<many people don't realize is just how much a grind competing in a
<tournament can be.

<On another note, which VP machines do you favor at Harrah's AC? I may
<be playing there on Friday but will probably spend most of my time at
<Bally's.

<TIA, and enjoy the cruise.

Congrats on your Hold'Em and THANK YOU very much for sharing the news
about 9/6 JOB at Harrah's AC ...

I've been beginning to wonder if there are any places left to play
reasonable VP. I started watching this forum because I plan (or
planned) to take a couple free trips to Vegas and was looking forward
to some good VP and BJ ... the more I have watched, the less
interested I've become in the trips. Free trips aren't worth all that
much with terrible odds.

I had always thought of AC as bad odds, guess I might have to consider
going there instead of Vegas. (Harrah's will send me to any of their
locations) ...

Thanks again .. and enjoy!
