Sorry if this has been posted lately, but I just re-joined the
group so I wouldn't know.
I have not seen the changes reported yet either and was waiting for
the shake-up to be completed before reporting myself. Ho-Chunk is
making major inventory changes as they go to an all TI/TO casino. The
machines that are being brought in all appear to be bright shiney
just out of the box high quality major vendor machines.
Anyway, after a short (very short) stop at HoChunk in WI over the
4th, I can report that all of the triple and five play 25¢ and
5¢
VP machines are gone.
Big shock seeing that. The ones by the hot dog stand had a
reasonable paytable, too.
Yes, all of the .25 Triple plays were removed in late June, there
were 10 near the hot dog stand that had NSUDs, 9/6JOB, 9/6DDB, 9/6DB,
and a quad bonus game on them.
The multiplay 5 cent machines were all very short pay and thus no
loss in my opinion.
Some of their single line old machines were gone, too.
All of the Ballys Gamemaker 5 coin Quarter machines (the ones with FP
triple deuces) have been gone for several months.
A few one liners remain, some with the 8 coin requisite.
There are two banks one large bank along the west wall and a slant-
top bank in the "new" section that are 8 coin 6-5-4-3-2-1 Bonus
progressives. These have such a low base and so much play that I have
never seen either approach break even.
I did see 2 stand-alone Multistrike uprights along with a bank of 8-
10 Multistrike multi-denominational TITO in 2 separate areas but
they were not operational yet.
Yes, with a slight correction here, what you meant to say was Multi-
game Multi-denominational rather than Multi-strike. There is a bank
of new Game-King machines set up but not yet operational near the
hotel entrance in the new part of the casino. I was there last night
as a gaggle of maintenance people watched a tech playing with one of
them. After going through several screens he popped out to the menu
screen, to my horror there were a selection of about 8 different keno
games. Not sure if these will go live with that menu but I don't have
my hopes up.
There were another couple of brand new GameKing machines being set up
near the main entrance close to where the triple plays were. Once
these machines are operational I will report on the paytables. -JFR
