Some of HL promos (i.e. tournaments) are good;
others are lousy.
I just 'cancelled' on their 'Cash Craze' bonus giveaways this past
weekend. Congrats to any who might have won.
Instead of giving Diamond members Reel Rewards (basically freeplay,
or bonus cash, your choice) as advertised $20-100 during this past
weekends stay, (along with a whopping 3x or 2x bonus RCs),
you would win that if you 'happened' to be randomly drawn during
certain times of the day. In other words, keep playing, or make sure
your card is active. If by chance they draw your 'lucky' machine,
you'll be notified.
This is some marketing guru's invention of a convoluted drawing;
since only 'active machine - and maybe table bettors' are eligible,
the casino is sure to make the MOST on these types of promos...
Similarly, this 20th Anniversary's M-W-F 'Royal Flush' random winners
dwgs (up to 20 bonus draws at 50 pts each, or $500 vp play for a bonus
draw), got me NOTHING TWICE! Not even 1000 RCs ($10).
Who's to say if they already gave away a chunk of the $20K for the
month, that, perhaps, only $10 in RCs is left for the final Fri of
each month? Lame.
OK - rant off. And here's some more bad news.
On .25 9/6 VP - I think only the 2 slants by Keno area are left intact.
Most of the rest have been shorted to 8/5 JB.
In fact - I'd delete the following statements from the VpFree inventory:
9/6 JoB (99.5%)
25c/50c MG/MD slant-tops scattered around casino.
2 uprights by Keno (also now 8/5 JB).
