Hitting Multiple Royals -- Problems?

Was playing dollar JOB last evening and hit a royal. Naturally, I
kept playing some and within fifteen minutes hit another royal.
Kept on playing and several times it looked like I was going to hit
another royal but did not. Thought to myself though "if these
people have to come over here another time to pay me for a third
royal, they are going to accuse me of something". (Just my crazy
thoughts!)

Taking into consideration the discussion of the cashing of the large
tickets at the cage and the supervisor's questions, has anyone
experienced any problems with getting paid when hitting multiple
royals in a very short period of time at a major casino?

Can a casino ask you to change machines or make a machine "out of
service" on whim?

And would there be a difference between Nevada and New Jersey? I
believe in Nevada the casino considers you a guest and can do almost
anything that they want whereas New Jersey has more of an "open
door" policy and it is harder to remove you?

I have had machines shut down on me in both Vegas and AC. Vegas a
couple years ago and AC about 3 or 4 years ago. No one asked me to
leave. They just shut machine down to check it.

Cheers....jeep

Funny you should mention this as something else did happen on the
same night that I had my little episode with the cage supervisor and
it has happened a few times in the past three years. That is, that
upon hitting multiple deuces or multiple royals we have been watched
by security. Not for long and we have never been questioned - but
they just kind of hang out a few machines away and sort of scope us
out. Other players have reported this as well. I've had it happen at
The River Palms and Bolder Station. On the other hand, at The Las
Vegas Hilton we hit one on dollars and two on quarters, all in the
same evening and they acted like it was just business as usual.

The security folks I know at a few casinos do this to
make sure no one else is watching you, especially if
you are getting paid in cash. I've got one that always
offers to walk us to the car, when we've had a
particularly good night.

Unless you hit it 5 (my guess) or more times...
Ask you to change machines? --- I don't think so.
Make a machine "out of service"? --- Maybe so (on higher denoms).

A few years ago, the same QuarterMania machine was hit a 2nd time on
the same day at The Orleans in vegas and after the 2nd hit, the bank
of machines where surrounded with tapes and the next time I visited
the casino...I think David Copperfield was called in and made the
machines disappear!?

Congrats on your hits!

Security hung out a few machines away and watched, because:

1) They wanted to fantasize what they would do if they'd hit for that
much money,

and,

2) They hung out to kill some time before walking over to stand a few
machines away from the bar and kill some more time watching a silent
broadcast of ESPN's "Sportscenter" on the bar's TVs.

If you pull out your driver's license, security can read the birthdate
on it while sitting in their room upstairs by using their security
cameras.
They would not station personnel a few yards away to alert you to
their suspicions.

The guards standing a few machines away had nothing to do with any
suspicions management may have had about you.
