I for one am lost in the math again, At what point would a prudent player
assume that either the machines are gaffed or he is star crossed and throw
in the towel ?

personally, i would say if you go 25 cycles and your results are not
within +/-10 (15-35 hits) something is suspect, i would first suspect
player error, if that's not it then i would suspect machine error
25+/-10 is about 95% likely (5% unlikely, 2.5% for less than 15 hits)
25+/-15 is about 99% likely (1% unlikely, 0.5% for less than 10 hits)
certainly take your complaint and documentation and machine number
(serial number if you can find it) to your host and to the gaming
control board
(this applies to any cycles, not just royals, unfortunately if a
machine is gaffed it's likely gaffed for royals, fortunately if the
problem is player error it's likely to show up on lower hands)
(a note on player error: the computer simulators are great because
they catch errors and let you know what you are doing wrong, but the
actual casino environment is quite a bit different from the computer
simulator environment, particularly if you have a drink or two or are
easily distracted by members of the opposite sex)
