I hit a sequential royal today, but not, unfortuantely, on a machine
that paid extra for it. Still, I'll take it, it was a progressive at
140% of reset value, and I had played a total of 120 hands according
to my player card when I hit it. How's that for quick work.
The strange thing about it (all royals come with strange things
attached, it seems) is that the machine I was on was exactly mid-way
between the only two seq royal progressives in tunica, about 15 feet
from either one. I never play those machines because they are
negative even when the progressives get high, so there are no pangs
of the could-have-been variety. But the fact that I was exactly
midway between them seems significant, as if perhaps the
gravitational attraction of the two banks was exactly balanced and
thus resulted in my drawing the TJQ^^ of hearts and then filling the
last two spaces with the KA. Thus, you see, not only was the final
layout sequential, but even the order of the cards in the deck was
sequential (as opposed to, say, being dealt TJ^KA and drawing the Q).
