Having stayed in
Hiltons around the world for business I've never encountered this sort
of thing before. That's what motivated my question. I wondered if
the LV Hilton was somehow different from the rest of the chain.
Thanks for the replies. I won't waste anymore energy on it.

Wasn't the original deal that the new owners (Resorts?) had to give up the
Hilton moniker/benefits/corporate culture? I thought it was a two year
countdown.
The Hilton brand bailed out on the Flamingo both in Vegas and Laughlin years
ago. I still find it humourous when folks still use "Hilton". What was that
one the other day...a press release or newspaper article? I remember
now...the ZZ Top homepage referencing the venue of the June 7, 2005 date at the
Laughlin Flamingo Hilton.
Another moniker/brand is Caesars, which Columbia-Sussex has to abandon
up-north Nevada by Jan 1st.
