Hilton/IGT's insult to VP players

The Bally machines containing Pic Em at the Hilton 2 Bars have been replaced by IGT Game Kings. One of the games in these machines is a knockoff of All American Poker called USA Poker. At the quarter level the pay scale for this game is similar to All American Poker except the full house, flush, and straight pay 7 for 1 coin instead of 8. The total return of this game is 96.265%. For the 50 cents and dollar games the pay scale is similar to All American Poker, except four of a kind pays 25 for 1 coin instead of 40. Total return of this game is 96.2697%. These machines also contain the usual mix of games.
double bonus , double double bonus, joker poker, Jacks or better, and deuces wild. The pay scales of these games are either horrible at the quarter level and terrible at the 50 cent and dollar levels.

This bodes very poorly for the future of the quarter coin-droppers in
the SpaceQuest casino.

btw, Bally Gaming has a copyright on the AA name (akin to Pick'Em)
which is why it's necessary for IGT to relabel the game USA Poker.

I was in the hilton this morning playing the AAp in the space quest
casino . No less than 3 mantanance electrical types were fiddling
around under the 10 bank and then looking inside a electrical panel
over on the wall.

So It looks like they might be doing some changing of things with
that bank.

I agree this doesnt look good. So, to ensure I am on the right side
of the variance swing if they do decide to jerk these grreat games I
went ahead and hit 2 club royal flushes within 18 minutes of one
another.

I'll be sad to see this great quarted play go south. It is hands
down the best day in day out single line 5 coin quarter play in town
right now.

not many single line 5 coin quarter games can a guy make $14+ an
hour at.

bummerz if they do go away my Hilton Playing days will be over for
awhile at least.
