Hilton Demise

Just back from a week in LV. 3 nites SC, 2 Hilton, 2 CP

The LVHs new program has 3 tiers. Bottom tier for anyone. Middle
(ELITE-seems to correspond with C3 rating) takes 1500 tier points and
top(ULTRA-seems to correspond with C2 rating.) takes 8,000 tier points.
IMHO one big problem is that you have to re-up your standing every 6

months

instead of yearly like HET.
I played 2 days on the 10 plays with coin in of abt 108K. I earned tier
points at abt 25.5/1K played. So to keep ELITE status I need abt 59K/6
months. To get ULTRA status I need abt 314K every 6 months. ULTRA is a
problem for me because even though I average abt 50K/day I need to play at
that level for 6 days every 6 months which I don't always do.
Just to complicate matters further my host told me that the C2and C3

ratings

are still used within the new system so that even if you are ELITE but

play

enough on your trip for C2 status (which I assume is still $750/day theo

as

before) you will get the C2 benefits.
The theo for the 10 plays is 1.35%(abt 56K/day for $750 theo) and I earned
CB at abt .13% rate.
When I got there I found that I was ELITE but due to my play I did get
gourmet dining and limo comped and my host said that next trip I would be
coded C2 even though I didn't quite make the theo. I have been C2 for
several years.
It's getting tougher and tougher at LVH but if I can keep all the perks

like

···

2 bedroom suite(sleep 6) golf and limo it's still worth it to me.

The cb is very game, and perhaps machine, dependent. Last I heard, the
$1 3-line Jacks was .175 or so, but some of the $1 machines in the
Sportsbook are still .33, but with much less generous theos. Some of
the higher end EVs have been eliminated by slashing EVs in high limit
as well. It's a much tougher place to try to make money at since
Resorts took it over; was never really high up on my list of places to
play, although for many years, it might have been the best deal for
dollar players, both locals and tourists.

That 2 bdrm suite you mention; is that the one with two bedrooms
joined? One room king bed, tv about a mile away across a couch and
next room with couch, chair, refrigerator and pull out bed that's
hidden in the wall? There might be a bar and table there too. Just
curious. This suite setup is not for 2 using same bed. Great if
going with friends or kids. Stardust had a great suite setup.
Moved home base to Dust because rooms were nicer, in my opinion. Of
course, I hear there are some nice suites on the top floor of LVH. My
nickle vp probably isn't enough to get me up there.

Cheers

That's a one bedroom suite. The two has another room also with one or two beds. You can sleep two in each of the 3 rooms.

Point accumulation at the LVH currently seems to depend on what you play (and likely corresponds to the theo they assign the machines). We recently earned points at a rate of a about 40/$1K coin in.
