Hundreds of Las Vegans helped Alka-Seltzer celebrate its 75th anniversary by
setting a �Guinness World Record� for the �World�s Largest Buffet� at the
Las Vegas Hilton. The 510- item buffet, created by George Bargisen, Las
Vegas Hilton executive director of culinary operations, opened to the public
at 11:00 AM on March 28. The buffet, which was served to 848 guests in
three seatings, was hosted by actress and comedian Kathy Griffin. Proceeds
from the event will be donated to America�s Second Harvest � The Nation�s
Food Bank Network, the nation's largest charitable hunger-relief
organization.
