Highly practical and useful VP post

vpFREE is being moderated this evening to enforce
compliance with my off-topic cease and desist request.

The following ROJ post adds to my gray hairs, but I'm
approving it because I think it's funny.

At the Fiesta Henderson, in the MultiStrike machine bank that is
near the coffee shop, the fourth machine out of five (counting left
to right) has an inoperative change light button. I hope that it's
fixed soon.

I flew over the Fiesta Henderson while my jet was on a landing pattern to the LV
Airport, 4 years ago when I last visited Las Vegas. Is it the same machine as then? I
don't like playing machines with inoperative lights. Does anyone? <grin>

Which reminds me, things have been kinda slow over on vpFree_Reno lately. About 3
posts a week, unless the Gay/Lesbian Nuke the Whales group [oops -can I say that
here?] accidentally cross-posts to there. Then there are 5 posts (the same old codger
who is a celebrated Thesbian always replies to the mis-Post: he corrects the spelling
of Lesbian EVERY time- - oh the laughs) <sigh>. Anyhow, if there are some posts
that annoy people as being OFF-TOPIC but aren't dicey enough to b00t over to
FreevpFree, perhaps Tom could send a few posts our way to vpFree_Reno. That
would be great.

I'll go over there to vpFree_Reno right now and post to the gang the good news. This
will be great.

Me again, sorry:
OK, I'm gonna type REAL careful here, 'cuz I down wanna waste any more bandwidth
than I already have.
I just KNOW what you all are thinking:
FOUR years ago there WAS NO MULTISTRIKE !!
DUH! My bad. The horror. My apologies.
There goes MY Credibility for, like, 6 months at least until you all forget.

But the part about it being slow over in vpFREE_Reno: that was factual.

Kinda like a party in the next hotel room, with that hip-hop music, and loud laughing
women and yer trying to get some sleep so you can go down and play JoB at 6AM
before the penny Keno crowd hogs all the GameMakers. I mean, isn't a hotel just
there for gamblers? Who ARE all these off-topic people? And why don't they keep
quiet like me? And just,..... just BLEND IN ! Isn't that why we join groups? lol

OK, 'nuff analogies.
I learned my lesson: T Y P E R E A L S L O W. Don't make errors or someone will
make you feel stoopid. and if ya put a space in between each letter of the naughty
words, they'll slip by the censor-Bot.

Thrank you,
  IMHO

(oops - I don't think it's OK to reply to your own post -gol', this group is a lot
tougher than the Reno gang)

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Mark, be careful what you wish for!! The

controversies that sometimes rage on vpFREE, are not usually
pleasant to read. I do think, however, that it is probably a good
thing, that those who are so filled with rage, have some outlet for
their aggression, other than punching/ shooting/or otherwise
maiming, the person they are villifying. I hope they quickly find
some other board on which to vent their spleen.

I too decried the lack of posting on vpFREEReno, and tried to add my
2 cents worth whenever I thought it was appropriate, or the subject
matter interested me. However, it does seem, that most posts are
met with total silence on the part of other posters. I can't
imagine why.

For me, a usual 3 time per year Reno visitor (vs. 6-7 times to LV)
the Northern Nevada vp experiences are every bit as satisfying as
the Southern Nevada ones. I would love to read more posts relating
to personal adventures, playimg vp in Reno, in addition to Database
updates etc.

Also, Mark, we haven't seen any interesting and well written
gambling logs from you lately. Have you been staying away from the
casinos?

Here's hoping that more informed, interesting and CONGENIAL folks
start contributing to the Reno site soon.

Thanks for noticing, Babe, you are correct - no trips for me since Labor Day, next trip
early Dec. I'm 800 mi away, so I fly into town. After two losing trips in a row, my
bankroll needs an extra month to recover.

But, for your entertainment, you could go thru and search thru vpFree history using
"trip report" or some other word string in the search box, and read more trip reports.
(If you haven't already done so!) This calendar year I published on vpFree_Reno, but
there are also some here on vpFree going back to about december 2002, if you have
the patience to go back that far.
