What is the highest cashback (or cash/comp/etc back) percent you've
seen back in the glory days of VP? I was looking at the N0 tables on
the vpfree site and it "only" (ha, ha) goes up to 2%. Man, I wish that
were doable now...
Highest cashback (in the glory days)?
I can remember getting 2% cash back occasionally. This would
normally occur on 3x point day at a casino with 2/3% normal cash back.
For a while, one casino in my area had 4x point days twice a week
with a base of, I think, 0.4%, for a rate of 1.6%. (This was a very
long time ago, so I'm not sure that's exactly right - but it's
close.) During this period there were a couple of people who
essentially made their living playing dollar 9/6 JOB at this casino
on 4x point days.
I can recall another casino that had 1% cash back on dollar 9/6 JOB
24/7.
All of these examples were same day cash back.
I sure wish I had the bankroll and knowledge 10 years ago that I have
now.

Las Vegas Hilton had a December promo with around 2.5% for slot players.
Some AC casinos have offered promo cashback for slots near 5%.

Actually Resorts Tunica has 0.4% cash back and a x5 promo for new
members. So it's still possible to get 2% cash back.

For N0 purchases, you convert expected bonus cash into cashback
equivalent. With occasional cashback multipliers, 2% isn't unheard
of, even today.
