Kevin;
There are probably several hundred current vpmail members on this forum. I doubt even one of them will agree with that statement. In fact, although there are obviously disagreements, the last case of real flaming or serious disrepect I remember on vpmail was the last when you left, a couple years back.

There may some danger of "civil" liability here, as there are probably a number of folks on this forum who required immediate medical attention (oxygen, CPR, defibrillation) at the idea of Kevin-L/ROJ giving lectures on civility.

Obviously, Ted's (I thought private) suggestion to me, to ask jackessiebabe to write for Video Poker Player, would have been better left between the three of us, rather than risk being fuel for such nonsense.

I hereby petititon to withdraw my "welcome, back, Kevin." What was I thinking?

But you dont, I dont belive a word you say,
I had a couple of bets with another member of this board. The over
under on will you come back after you last left,3 weeks , i lost, the
first subject you will use to get attenion, casino smokin , i won!!,

I belive you got your 6x points at Sams Town, IF you went at all,

I belive you smoke.( or really dont matter to you)

I belive you you were so jealous of a young person hitting a big
royal that is how they turned into "drunks with out a clue".

Your concern that the player "will now turn into an addict" & "he
should invest in a condo" seems to indicate that you want to mind his
bizness, thats very LIBERAL of you. Most of us would have been happy
for him, figuring ( if we would have bother at all) that if he had
the $ to gamble, he can handle the win himself, & hell we were all
young once.

I dont belive your story about the crap dealer calling a winning bet
a loser ON PURPOSE at the crap table, I first heard this story in 74
at a .25 crap table at the Nevada Club in Reno, it was an old story
then.
Every time i have had a dispute with a casino whther it was a
payoff ,slot points , restaurant problems , hotel rooms ,whatever I
have always gotten satisfaction from the casino every time.

I suggest if you put in the effort to solve your dispute with Sams
Town as you put in writing about it you would have gotten you points.
( If you went at all & if you did you did not get your points) or you
cant handle face to face confertation & you use this forum to vent.

Kevin / jellyrock you have my sympathy , not my anger, must be tough
waking up every day thinkin the whole world against you , very sad.

Note to our fearless leader Vp adminstrator:
before you kick me off again, You have my respect for running this
wonderfull board but you really blew it!!!!!

Jellyrock says he wants Sams Town to be "the next ground zero" where
2k persons were murdered & when somebody gives a 1 word
response "sick" & you PUBLICY CHASTISE THEM???

Jellyfish has hinted at violence before , yet you publicly say
nothing to him??
Is he a bil?? have compromising photos? you owe him $ ?
You dont have to send me an email revoking my posting privilages
Just send me one if & when i am welcomed back.

This the best VP board period. sorry Skip, guess that why you "use"
the info

2nd note to jacksiebaby, i mean no ill will in our dicussion on
VPfreereno about the Silver Legacy, I hope they mean what they say
about makin them the place to play VP in northern nevada, I would
love to have another option to Atlantis, Peppermill & Cal-Neva ,is
just they have a ways to go yet before than compete in both variety &
sheer number of games.

<G> I guess I'll have to live with that. It is somewhat
comforting when I get heat and accolades from both sides
of a situation, which is often the case.

I chastised them for being assistant moderators. It would
be more helpful to receive conduct concerns privately
rather than having them posted publicly.

I plead guilty to enjoying ROJ's posts, even when I'm
the target. I take everything he says with several
grains of salt, since I believe that many of his rants
are done with tongue firmly implanted in cheek. It's
interesting to try and separate the wheat from the chaff.

I encourage and welcome any factual corrections to
ROJ's or anyone else's posts, providing they're done in
an objective and impersonal manner. Correcting anyone's
conduct on vpFREE is my job.

As to the "sick" comment, I interpreted it as applying to
ROJ, but the poster tells me it applied to the statement,
not to ROJ. My bad ... The "ground zero" statement was
"sick" and tongue in cheek IMO.

No vacations are being assessed for this incident.
Please keep things impersonal and let me police
members' conduct in the future.

Personally, I have a distaste for distinguising between "tongue in
cheek" and simple ill-will. In either case, it engenders behavior in
kind (or worse). Not my choice for casual reading. And while I do
exercise my option to simply tune out certain posts, I find this a
much more pleasant environment when that's not necessary.

Kevin,

As one of the people on Skip's list I expect a public apology for your
public insult. While I have on several occasions pointed out when you
confuse opinion and objective fact but I have never "flamed" you publicly
for your opinions nor called you names (Except calling you Kevin when you
claimed to be your friend George).

You have every right to your opinions and to express them. However, that
does not give you the right to generalize or slander those of us who have
not and would not engage in the name-calling you describe. Criticize the
individuals who have done what you describe. I have never seen that kind of
name-calling on Skip's list even during the time you were having your hissy
fit and calling Skip the vilest names on this board.

I stand by my opinion. It's based on experience, on two separate
occasions. In each case I was roundly criticized, insulted, and
ridiculed for posting reports of non-random, anomalous results from
VP play.

Since I was relating the effects of my encounters with a GROUP, by
definition my post was a generalization. Obviously not EVERY member
of vpmail attacked me, or even MOST of them. Similarly, those who
lived in Nazi Germany during the perios 1933-1945 would probably be
viewed by an outsider as a potentially evil person, and perhaps
hated by the countries Germany destroyed, even if that person
belonged to the White Rose and liquidated his/her fortune to save
Jews.
The actions of a group, especially when violent or evil, are often
imputed to the individuals who make up that group. For those who
can't distinguish the difference, then, I hereby replace my
reference to "Skip's group" or "vpmail" with, "those immature,
antisocial, nasty, vicious verbal thugs who until recently at least,
have infested vpmail in large numbers".
You can obviously consider yourself not a member of that subgroup if
you wish.
You shouldn't have felt insulted if you KNEW that you had been in
that subgroup of vpmail that confines itself to civil discourse. It
was also unlikely that anyone would ever espouse a chain of opinions
that went like this: "Bill Coleman belongs to
vpmail"; "Rockofjello333 has had bad experiences with vpmail"; "I
don't think I'll invite Bill Coleman to my daughter's wedding".
Nonetheless, I am happy to apologize to you, and to those other
members of vpmail who have not been ill-mannered to myself in the
way described.
BTW (and this is the last time I will ever address this issue), if
you or several others haven't figured it out, there are five
different people who post under this handle. One of them is indeed
named George, and I won't reveal anything further about him without
his permission except that he is an expert VP player and has been a
resident of Vegas for fifteen+ years.

Actually, no such distinguishing should be necessary. The ill will I
bear Sam's Town is unequivocal and was meant to be expressed as
such. I think others might feel the same about a local business,
say, a tire and brake shop, a furniture store, Wal-Mart, etc. if
that business had brazenly and unapologetically ripped them off for
$200.
My intent in expressing that ill will was to warn other members of
VpFree that a similar thing may happen to them (since mine is not
the only report of such a thing happening). This is in context of
the otherwise very attractive recent 6X points offers at ST.
IMHO a board that screens out reports of negative experiences--as
you seem to feel you would enjoy more--would be doing a disservice
to its members. There are plenty of casino-published magazines (and
websites) that do nothing but gush about what a wonderful place the
Platinum Poodle is to play and by the way, look at all these
jackpots hit in the last week! I can guarantee you won't find any
nasty, downbeat stuff there.

"rockofjello333" seems to draws a fair number of intemperate replys,
Skip Hugh's posting that he no longer welcomes him back to the group,
comes to mind. There must be more to all this than what has been
posted in last several months, because I don't get it.

The idea of five different people posting under one name is just
creepy. Are these really five different people or is this Sybil type
of thing of multiple personalities.
