You can do this for any strategy combination in FVP. First off, make sure
that the "Cycle" or "Frequency" statistics are displayed on the chart
through the "Add Statistics" button.
Now you will see the cycle (or freq) of that combination appearing when it
was the top ranked play on the hand, when all possible hands are played. In
order to see when it appeared on the deal, and not necessarily just when it
was the top ranked play, you may have to do a bit more manipulation,
depending if there are strategy combinations ranked above it that steal
hands from this play.
This is easy to do with natural games. Just enter the "Tweak" window and
place that combination at the top of the chart, then analyze the chart.
Finding this information can be a bit trickier with wild games, since you
have to deal with wild tiers (Hands with 1 wild, Hands with 2 wild, etc.).
This would be one of the rare times that you should manipulate the rankings
using the "Unsorted Strategy Chart" view, so that you can advance the
position of the strategy combination irregardless of the number of wild
cards held in the hand.

Subject: help with odds of dealt handsWinpoker and FVP will give the odds of making a particular hand. What I'd
like to know are the odds of dealt hands. I only know a few of the
formulas,

like dealt royals and for particular "four of a kinds" and can't seem to
extrapolate the rest, especially wild card games (too stupid, or lazy). I
was disappointed to find FVP didn't have this feature.
What I'd love is to make an Excel worksheet.
I'm doing this to compare games with similar EV's on 50 and 100 play
machines.Stu in sf
