Help on Greektown VP

I have only learned to play PE. Now that Greektown has changed the PE to bad paytables, I am looking at learning a new game. Greektown is very liberal on comps and rooms so it is worth it to play a slightly worse % machine than playing PE at MGM where they seem to be very stingy with comps.

The database shows

99.96% DDB
99.94% SA
99.73% NSUD
99.66% BP

I am thinking about learning NSUD as the strategy seems fairly simple. Could anyone give me some advice as to whether this would be the best choice of games out of this list to learn? I am a recreational player but am willing to practice and learn a game.

My two cents, and I'm by no means an expert...but I believe DDB and SA at Greektown is only in dollars. NSUD is in quarters and above. You will stand to lose the same amount playing $1 DDB as you would $.25 NSUD, and the variance will be much higher with DDB. NSUD strategy is fairly easy to learn; DDB is much harder. So I would recommend NSUD in quarters. With cashback, you'll be getting 99.89% return plus whatever food they deign to give you, so you'll almost be gambling for free.

Are MGM's comps that stingy? I haven't played there so I don't know, but they at least give cashback, right?

Recently I played 4 hours on $1 PE and I couldn't get a buffet. Not the same as Greektown for sure. The cashback is the same as Greektown, .1667%.

I find the new PE machines they have at MGM to be very tiring. Hard to play 6 hours in a day on them. You have to be careful since they don't highlight when you have a paying hand on the draw.
