Help needed w/Foxwood Questions

We're heading to the Cape from Florida and plan to make a couple of
visits to Foxwood while were there. We haven't been there since last
June and I have a few questions I hope some of you "regular/locals"
can help with.

I love playing Double Pay Poker where you get paid for the dealt hand
as well as the redraw. I recently hit the dealt royal (60,000
credits) on the draw for $15,000. in Biloxi playing $0.25. Are there
any of these machines at Foxwood??? And, do they still have $0.25
Pick 'em?

Also, I've been getting mailings based on last year's play through
April of this year with 50 Wampum point coupons and a free room
offer. They stopped coming in May - PERFECT TIMING -- NOT!!! Does
it do any good to call direct to a host to try for a casino rate or
are all offers strictly through Marketing/mailings? The web site is
quoting me $175. rate now. I know I can't expect much with once a
year visits, but we play heavy when we're there which should be in
their computer records. Any recomendations of a host's name to
contact?

We haven't contacted Linda Kell (sp?)since they stopped inviting us
to events. Wouldn't hurt to call her and have her look up your play.
You could mention your previous free room offers and the bad timing.
I think offers decreased in the Summer.
Try Mohegan Sun website for a rate as well.
Enjoy the Cape. Its still late winter on the Cape with people having
to turn on their heat.

Thank you for the advice. I called and was able to be connected to a
host and they did look up my past play and comp'd a Tuesday night
stay, but our other visit on a Friday night was still $175. - the
website rate (they don't do "deals" on the weekends).
It pays to "ask"!
