Help for me, on a cruise without my Winpoker

I worked with a guy once who's other job was slot route tech for Terribles.
He told me of a fellow tech who worked on a cruise ship and said typically 4
or 5 hands on video poker machines were fixed to not pay off. The guy telling
me this had no reason to lie or make up a story. It was not in his character.

The rumor is, when the Mafia got kicked out of Vegas they went to indian
casinos and cruise ships.

Why not enjoy the cruise and... don't get too close to the rail. People get
robbed and thrown overboard and the cruise ship doesn't investigate fully.
Because of that I'd never go on a poker tourney cruise. Search online to see
those stories.

If it is gaffed they have probably made a fortune on it by now.

It needs to be monitored. But how does one monitor a progressive on
a ship?

Interesting rumors which I doubt could ever be proven or disproven.

Our experience is counter to these rumors. On a recent cruise, Lisa
hit a $ Royal Progressive that had not been reset before we embarked.

I'm ahead at casinos in San Diego county where I play at least weekly.

Perhaps we're just lucky. My experience with anyone working in casinos
anywhere causes me to doubt anything they say, usually due to their
ignorance or confusion of facts rather than intentional deception.

However, I enjoy listening and laughing to radio programs such as
"Coast to Coast". I find the conspiracies fabricated by callers, etc,
to be quite humorous. Most people desire order in their lives, causes
and effects, and basically an explanation for coincidences.

My philosophy: "xxit happens"
