Has the Wynn Changed Its Bar Comped Drinks Policy?

A while ago, I heard that the Wynn wasn't comping drinks at the bars any longer when you were playing vp. Drinks were still free on the floor while playing.

Most ridiculous policy I've ever heard of. Haven't they learned from the MGM and Venetian?

I believe the policy still stands. If you don't like it, play at MGM or the
Venetian.

This policy just show short-sightedness , a lack of thought - lets see class
casino marketing 101 - Is there a difference between a patron at a bar that puts $10 in a machine and
one who starts with $100...duh...too tough for Wynns henchman.... lets get the $100 guy drunk, and give him free $2 drinks...well make money yes...NO - there's that new dumb policy !
I doubt Steve knows about this boo boo.

Wynn is a five-star resort. They don't really want people who play video
poker in order to get free drinks sitting at their trendy bars.

So how's that working out for them? Are the bars crowded?

I'll see myself next month, but I promise I won't play VP at a bar that doesn't comp drinks.

It's not just alcohol drinks. In January I think I heard a cup of decaf coffee at the bar at Encore was about $ 7.50. Don't know if that includes refills.

Sure, that's just what I'm going to do. Stay at the Wynn and then drive over to the MGM or Venetian to play so I can get free drinks. It might even be easier to go across the street to Slots of Fun.

While you're across the street at Slots-Of-Fun, continue on for two
blocks, and you'll be at the Venetian. I don't believe that you'll
need to get in a car and drive there from The Wynn.

I think its a great idea. Just like 6-5 BJ. If they can find people stupid enough to play 6-5 they can find people stupid enough to pay for drinks while they play VP.
Would I play them?
Never.

I would not go to any of Wynn's places. He can not even treat his employees with respect to thier tips. He wants the pit bosses to share in the dealers tips.
So, with that in mind, How do you think he is treating the public?

Nasty Guy!

When will Wynn see he will not Win by these tactics. The answer my friend is blowing in the Wind.
