I haven't been to Harrahs in many years, but thought that I would stop by for one of their promotions. Following my trusty vp2free map I searched everywhere in the vp area for the 3 play 9/6 DDb machines with absolutely no luck. Have they moved them or gotten rid of them?? Please help.
Harrahs update?
Since we don't frequent the local casinos much any more I haven't sent in new info for the VPFree database in quite a while. To the best of my knowledge the best VP machines in Harrah's KC are some quarter 3-5 play in 9/5 JoB. This is why we don't go there very often, just to cash in some coupons once in a while.
Ameristar doesn't have much either but they do have several banks of progressives that go positive once in a while. They only knock one coin off their progressives (7/5 Bonus for example) whereas Harrah's knocks off two coins on their progressives -- they almost never go positive.
If you have the bankroll to back it up, Argosy has some full pay machines in dollar 3-play.
Good luck, go hit the big one.
Rick

Thanks guys. Ameristar still has the best plays for me. They added a bunch of 9/5 DDB and 9/6 DB short pay sit downs next to the King bar that are also in the progressive pot, so it grows pretty quickly. The other night, I was playing 9/7 db at the bar and the prog climbed above 1550 before it was hit. Thanks short-coin and short-pay players for bumping it up!!! Still play at the 3 bars with 9/7 db progs and the four 9/6 ddb for .25/.50/$ upstairs. Offers are getting better also. I was just hoping that somewhere else in kc would have some playable vp. Going to ameristar again tonight to try my luck!

FYI...
Here is a good news/bad news situation. At the Isle of Capri, they have full pay Pick-em in quarters and dollars. Also, full pay $ JOB. That's the good news. The bad news is... what can you spend your comps on? Not very darn much!

Hello all-
I stopped by Harrah's a couple of days ago and noticed that they are having a Mega Multipoint day on July 17, in which everyone gets at least 15x and as high as 100x. I assume that the vast majority of people get between 15 and 25 and only 1-2 percent (this is a guesstimate) of people get 50 or higher. Does anyone have experience with the frequency of high bonuses? Thanks.

A sample of two. Lucky Lucy and I hit the June Multipoint day and each got the minimum of 15X on our cards. I expect the vast majority will come in at 15. But, hay, 15X is pretty good, 1.5% for VP if my math is correct. Almost makes up for the short pay machines.
