i just returned from harrah's tunica, and although there had been mention of
paytable changes, i thought i would emphasize to anyone about to visit there
that you have to *check every line of every paytable of every machine*. the
mix is mindboggling. i saw job from 7/4 to 9/6. bonus poker with 150 for all
4k instead of 400/200/125. and there was a very unhappy player in my row
who hit a $ royal and was flabbergasted to see it only paid $2500 (fortunately,
i had learned to look closely before playing, when i hit my royal--whew). i
could make out no rhyme or reason to the paytables. so, caveat gambler.
(there still are full-pay wha, job, bp and baf, 9/7/5 db and daf mixed in among
the poor paytables.)
