I agree tourneys level out the playing field for us low-rollers squeezing the
system. Being on at least equal (sometimes alot better) standing with
everyone that is participating.
I did several tourneys at Harrahs Laughlin in 2005...VP, Slot and BJ. I had
a heck of a better chance cashing in on these than any of the Big Bang
drawings Harrahs sponsors. I got invited, being Diamond, to this next one "Set for
Life" Dec 10th, with a two night weekend offer, but I don't think my two
entries earned (50 Base points/$500 coin-in) are going to cut it against a
nationwide pool to win the prizes.
Gee, I wonder why I didn't get invited to the Millionaire Maker one?
