Does anyone know how long Harrah's points are to last. I was there in
May and am going back the middle of Dec. However they are telling me
that they expire on Thanksgiving. What's up with this I thought they
lasted a year. I am staying at Paris for 3 free nights. But does this
mean my offer for a buffet or shows will be gone by then. Can someone
advise me please.

Thank you,
Terri

Their Web site now states that RC's expire after six months with no
activity. They make a special point of suggesting use of their credit
card as a way to avoid that.

If you have the Total Rewards branded Bank of America Credit Card and use it at least once every six months, that will keep your reward credits from expiring. It doesn't matter if you earned the reward credits at a casino or by use of the credit card. As long as there is activity of some kind credits won't expire.

I got a BOA Total Rewards credit card several years ago that I use when I stay at a HET property.

Here's an idea if you don't want to mess with your ADT. Send the card to someone as previously mentioned with a buck or two, but rather than playing a machine, have them purchase something small in one of their shops. Now all your spending (shops, rooms, spa, etc) earns a point per dollar of purchases as I recall, so you would earn the point and extend the expiration by 6 months but not use it where it would "trip" you.
