Harrah's Total Rewards Points

Does anyone know how long Harrah's points are to last. I was there in May and am going back the middle of Dec. However they are telling me that they expire on Thanksgiving. What's up with this I thought they lasted a year. I am staying at Paris for 3 free nights. But does this mean my offer for a buffet or shows will be gone by then. Can someone advise me please.

Thank you,
  Terri

The information you stated is correct. The rewards credits for Harrah's properties no longer expire after one year, as they did previously. The offers you have for Paris and the buffets and shows also have an expiration date. You may want to go the Harrah's website and confirm the expiration dates on your offers that way you won't have an ugly surprise on Thanksgiving.

Good luck

Their Web site now states that RC's expire after six months with no activity. They make a special point of suggesting use of their credit card as a way to avoid that.

What do you mean use your credit card?

No, that was use THEIR credit card. There is information on Harrahs site at https://wwwa.applyonlinenow.com/USCCapp/Ctl/entry?sc=uaajv3

Basically you get 1 RC for every $1 you spend with the card. I have mine set up to pay a small fee that I have every month.
