Harrahs Total rewards/Caesars Connection Card?

Anybody know or care to speculate what will happen with the slot clubs
now that Harrahs has bought Casears? My best guess is that Harrahs
will eventually merge Caesars Connection accounts into Harrahs Total
reward accounts. How is this likely to be handled?

No need to speculate. Harrahs has published some information on their web site and has a FAQ at http://www.harrahs.com/merger/faq.html

I recently visited Showboat in Atlantic City and they had a magazine-like publication in the room that described the merger and gave maps and highlights of each location.

I guess the same question could be asked about
MGM/Mandalay.

The current issue of Casino Player has a cover story about the two big mergers. It seems
to me that Harrah's is actively discussing how they'll combine the players clubs (into Total
Rewards) while MGM/Mandalay seems to be working more slowly. That's just the
impression I get.

The article hints that there were data integration problems when Harrah's took over the
Rio, but it's not real specific.
