Harrahs St Louis, Horseshoe Southern Indiana and Hammond Trips

If that 15/11 deuces game has 4000 for the five coin royal it is called APDW (Almost Positive Deuces Wild) in this group's database and is a 99.96% game. The group had a poll to name that game. Would be the first appearance of this game in the Chicago Area. It was discussed on this board when the Wynn first opened as he shifted from FPDW to this nine days after it opened. (No longer there.) Strategy is close to NSUD but the 11 for the SF does cause a few changes.

Here is a new one I spotted on the way out. It was a $1
Deuces Wild game. Now get this. (1/2/3/4/4/11/15/25/200/300)That
figures to 99.9 if my old Win Poker is correct. I need to go back and
double check that but it looks like a pretty good game. Have to start
pacticing the strategy. The place is nice all right but wait a while,
not much VP is working as of this morning. Good luck all. Sorry for
the length of this.

Thanks for the feedback on that. Certainly the first I've seen of
this game. I'm pretty new to the group. I guess the official opening
of that Horseshoe is 8-8-08. We are going to Isle of Capri
Bettendorf,Iowa next weekend so I guess I'll miss the madhouse over
there. I will go back in mid August sometime and see what they have.

Howard, it would the second appearance of APDW in Chicagoland. There's
$2 and $5 3/5 play 15-11 at GV Elgin (with very little back end). It's
been there for maybe 3 years now. Need to work on your scouting, dude.

I have not played the Grand Victoria for several years eventhough it
is the closest casino to me. Had an incident there. I went in the
Brighton room for my win-loss statement and was treated extremely
rudely by the person at the desk. It took 5 weeks to get it while the
previous year they printed it on the spot. I then went in to the
casino while I was there. I took a pot shot at the $1 7-5 Bonus
progressive. The progressive was over $7800 making it slightly better
than break-even. 45 minutes later I held KQ of hearts and connected
for $7889.59. They made me take it in cash! The place had an armored
car shootout a few weeks earlier and I was wearing one of those
conspicuous Grand Victoria suede jackets. This was when they
still "cruised" so I had to wait. I had security drive me to my car.

$2 3 play is still $30 a play which is well above my bankroll level.
I new they had single line $1 NSUD and 25c to $25(!) 9-6 JOB Multi-
Strike.

I visited the new Horseshoe in Hammond yesterday. The place is
beautiful. The Diamond Lounge remains where it was before - so it is
quite a walk to get to.

A 7* lounge is located by the HL Slot & HL Table Game rooms. I took
a tour of it; it is large and very, very nice. The host told me that
there is a special menu that guests can order from. Nice bar with
TVs (all sports shown).

I only checked out the machines in the HL Room, so can only report on
those. They are all brand new and pretty cool to play.

(1) $2 MG 3/5/10P
(2) $1 MG 50P
(6*) $5 MG SL
(1) $25 MG SL
(1) $50 MG SL
(1) $100 MG SL

Games available in SL include JB, BDLX, BP, SDB, SA, 9/7DB, 10/6DDB,
OEJ, 15/11 NSUD (not sure if that has an acronym yet or not).
Games available in 50P are the same except DDB is 9/6.
I did not check the pay tables on the lone 3/5/10 play.
*I am guessing there were six, did not count them. Two were out of
service.

The service was excellent and they are keeping Coke products in back
for those who specifically request them. Yeah!!

Cashback is now freeplay and can be downloaded at the machine.

My only disaaapointments were the music (rap) and the mandatory IN
state tax - it's a killer.

Going there in two weeks. Thanks for the update:)
