Harrah's Rincon

Well, they changed those VP machines in the Video Poker area near Buffet - to now have 8/5 BP at .25, .50., $1. That is the only change they made. If they would just put back the 9/6 DDB, the 25,15 Deuces, and the 9/6 JOB - many people would be back.

You still have the morons that play 8/5 DDB and cant figure out why they never win anything. or worst yet 20/12 deuces. I ran that program and it is at a whole 94.3% return. Duh? Those pole don't care about returns - most of them didn't even realize the machines had different pay schedules. They are just there to play their 25 minutes and 50 points to get their free buffets.

The best paytable I could find on my trip to Rincon this week was on the two DreamCard machines in the Video Poker area. Those machines have several bad paytables, but the 8/5 BP with DreamCard activated has a return of 99.27% per wizardofodds.com. You're in for a minimum of 30 credits for three lines, so the 25c starts at $7.50 a hand.

I like keeping my Total Rewards active without leaving SoCal, but Rincon is depressing, especially with great options at VV just up the road.
