Harrah's Rincon mailers

I took about a year away from Rincon, and went back for the first time in July. My mailers for September arrived, and seem ridiculous.

Freeplay:

$35 on each of 4th, 9th, 11th, 14th, 21st, 22nd, and 25th
$40* on each of 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th
$50 on each of 6th-12th, 13th-19th, 20th-26th, 27th-10/3
$20 once any time during month

*these are actually a "surprise" from $40 to $1000, but I'm being realistic and assuming $40.

I also get a $50 Visa giftcard on the 15-16th, with additional $25 Visa cards for every 800 Tier Credits on VP (or 400 TC on slots) earned those two days. An extra 0.31% back via the giftcards, I guess.

Now, I am not complaining about $565 in freeplay plus $50 in giftcard. I don't personally think I played enough in July to warrant that. But having to visit 12 times to collect all of it??? Even if I play the 6am wraparound game, it's still 10 visits.

I doubt I am alone in thinking I'd rather have $300 I only have to show up twice for. Rincon isn't exactly a short drive. It's not like a "local" casino in Vegas.

Any other casinos in CA doing this routine?

Unless I missed it, does Rincon have massive plans for another hotel tower and a much enlarged casino? I think the environmental report has been filed.

Yes. The public comment period ended in June and the Tribe approved the report a few weeks ago. They are adding 400 hotel rooms to the 600+ they have now, and adding around 16k sf of casino floor plus some pool area, restaurant space and parking.

The report is incredibly dry reading, but can be found at http://www.rinconcasinoee.com/

Wow. With that kind of offer, I might consider staying away for a while and see what I might get. I dont even know any diamond players around here getting that kind of offer.

this is similar to what I get most months...a bunch of different codes/postcards offer things that usually add up to around $200+ in free play in any one visit. They make it where you have to stay at least 2 nights to get more than one of the offers.
You live in SD are right gamblingrandma? I bet runningfrog88 is more like me and live 2+ hrs away....they can send you all those multiple day offers because they know you are not going to show up for most of them.
