Signs at Harrah's Rincon say that starting in January, earning 25 points($250 coin in on VP) will earn a free buffet every Sunday through Thursday. This buffet is very good, probably second only to Valley View in southern California. This promo will further cheapen the value of Seven Stars status at Rincon which already awards two free buffets once every day. Anyone know for sure if using a free 7 Stars buffet generates a trip?

I second that Rincon's buffet is second to Valley View's legendary lobsterfest.
Many have made a run at VV, including Pala (uccgh!) but this is the only serious contender. Still falls short of the quality, variety, and consistency of the View, but a good try.
As for the Seven Stars buffet bene ....
An irony of most 7* benefits is that they're only valuable if you DON't plan to play. Yes, it does indeed look like 7* is becoming the new Diamond, as Chopped Liver became the new Diamond. What unprecedented assininity will the Evil Empire create next? Just wait.

Another bonehead move by Caesars' management! The lines are very long. Can you imagine $250 coin in for a $28 dinner buffet! Even the Diamond lines are long. Feed the fleas and chase away the VIP's.
