Harrah's Properties in Tunica

I currently have an offer, good through 3/31, including airfare
reimbursement, dining and spa credit, plus Free Play. A room for up
to three nights is offered at either the Grand or the Horseshoe.

Can someone please tell me whether play at the three casinos is
combined, similar to Harrahs/Harveys in Lake Tahoe? Or will I be
limited to playing at only one casino so as not to ruin my trip
average?

Also, does anyone know if Tunica will provide a courtesy limo from the
Memphis airport, similar to New Orleans?

Lastly, can anyone recommend a good host at either the Grand or the
Horseshoe?

Thanks for any information.

RoBar1521,

The play is not combined. Your rating, offers, and comps are based on your play at each individual property according to my host and my own experience.

I'm sure that airport pick-up is available. I've never used it but I know of others who have. Check with a host or VIP services.

My host at the Grand is Roy McGee and Joy Black at the Horseshoe. I have been very pleased with both.

As you are probably aware from this site, the VP at the Horseshoe is not promising for serious VP players. Other than that, the Shoe is fine.

  Good Luck!

Thanks, Nita, for the Tunica information And thanks also to hockeystl
for that welcome bit of news.

One comment about the Grand: They have three different hotels on their
property, and only one is attached directly to the casino.
Unfortunately, that is also the oldest, and probably least attractive
of the hotels.

The other two are out on the grounds, over by their convention center
and golf course. They do run a continuous shuttle bus service between
the outlying hotels and the casino, but it does mean some waiting at
either end for a bus to arrive.

The Horseshoe hotel is attached directly to the casino.

The Harrah's Dallas marketing group has been experimenting with
junkets that fly directly to or from the Tunica airport (yes, it does
have a very small airport), but the runways are so short that the
charter jets often end up going to Memphis anyway, or taking off from
Tunica deliberately short on fuel (to save weight), then stopping at
an intermediate airport to refuel. Not the best solution, IMO.
