Harrahs Prairie Band update

It's been brought to my attention that H PB will no longer be a part of
Total Rewards effective tomorrow, April 5. Any comps/points earned
will now be on their new card.

The casino will honor all coupons sent by Harrahs marketing.

Hotel rooms can no longer be booked through the HET reservations
system.

The "official" date of the changeover is still July 1 though I have no
idea what will be left to change by then.

We stopped by PB Saturday morning (April 7) and while they may be
making changes to the Player's Club, I could see NO CHANGES being made
to any of the poor VP tables nor on the table games. They did have a
pretty good bisquits and gravey offered at that Buffalo Wing or
whatever it's called. That was about the best thing I could say about
the casino.

The last time we were at PB (last year) they still had some full pay
AA machines in both 25 cent and $1. Are they still there?

VP in general in the KC area is looking grim. Lucky Lucy and I are
about ready to hang it up. When Kansas gets some casinos on this side
of the state line, maybe it will stir up some competition.

If they had full pay anywhere, I didn't see it. I didn't check every
game on every multigame machine though.

I'm hoping that the proposed Kansas Casinos do pass the vote
locally.
There are two sites close by....Sedgwick (Wichita) and Sumner
(WEllington) with Sedgwick having first option I think. Having one
in
Kansas City just MIGHT cause some changes at AmeriStar, Harrah's,
Isle
of Capri and Argosy. One can hope anyway!

I was there over the weekend. No changes with the exception of the
lack of usual suspects pounding the $ AA's.

A pleasant surprise was the fact that they gave all hosted players
some "starter points" in their PBP account so they wouldn't start
with 0 comps. The amount of points credited was relative to the
amount of CI given to the property when it was under TRewards.

Full RF (no B, state law) is still available...just like it was when
it was a Harrahs. As with Harrahs, the host comped off all the food
and didn't touch any point balance.

Points can still be used for gas and all sundries inside Nation
Station. I guess I'll be hauling some goods home each trip since
there's no use in banking comps there now.

Make that 'they gave most players some starter points', my wife and I
were there this weekend and we both got zero points to start. I did
see another couple come in and they both got around 70,000 points or
about $700 to start. I inquired and was told it had to do with how
many points you earned there and when and when you cashed out/used
those points. I guess we must have used our points before they split off.
