Harrah's or Harvery's in Lake Tahoe?

We stayed one night in each and much preferred Harrahs even though the
casino is smaller, the room is nicer.

Even Harrah's "standard" rooms have TWO full baths. The rooms are
large and nicely furnished. Absolutely no comparison with Harvey's
where the standard rooms are quite ordinary.

IMO, Harrah's has an excellent gourmet room as well as a good
Steakhouse. Their buffet is just fair. I don't care much for any of
Harvey's restaurants, but haven't eaten in their gourmet room, which I
have heard is quite good.

The VP and table game choices in both casinos are poor. Save your
playing bankroll for Reno, a 50 minute drive (partially on mountain
roads) away. However, if you enjoy playing dollar (and higher) reel
slots, Harrah's has some that seem to be very lively, and generate
lots of excitement for the players.

Most of all, enjoy the magnificent Alpine beauty of the glorious Lake
Tower landscape. This is truly one of the most beautiful areas in the
USA.

Sorry! That should have read Lake TAHOE, not Lake Tower.
