Harrah's or Harvery's in Lake Tahoe?

Going to Lake Tahoe at the end of March and I need advice on what
property I should stay at in Lake Tahoe.

Should I stay at Harrah's or Harvey's?

Which property is nicer?

Thanks,
Nicole

Harrahs have the nicest rooms, and the best place to play VP is right
next door at Bills. Bills have alot of 100% plus games.

You haven't been to Bill's lately. The large supply of FP machines only
lasted about 6 months. They still have the signs outside advertising
the great video poker, but the truth is there is only two dime machines
left. Harrah's slot cards do not work at Bill's. They do not have any
slot card system in place. The best thing going at Bill's is the fact
that it is smoke free. They opened up a new bar/restaurant with 24
beers on tap last month. They would not comp me any of those however
playing bartops. Only bottled beer from the case- weird.

Harvey's is on the Lake side of the street, so the views are better (if
you get a lakeview room) vs. Harrah's. Rooms are better at Harrah's as
mentioned. Harvey's has a lot of 8/5 BP. You will find them at most
bartops too. The Diamond club is better at Harvey's vs. Harrah's.

It probably doesn't matter too much where you stay, as both places are
connected via an underground tunnel, which is great during the winter.

Harrah's is much much much much nicer. If you want a lake view,
however, it's easier to get one at Harvey's, because the Harvey's
tower is between Harrah's and the lakeshore, and partialy blocks the
view.

The restaurants and the gambling at both properties are substandard
and overpriced, with the exception of the Sage Room steak house at
Harvey's, which is pretty good, the coffee shop at Harvey's, which is
hideously bad, and the American River Cafe in the basement of
Harrah's, which is decent.

Neither place is worth gambling at, in fact, that's pretty much true
of all of Tahoe. But Tahoe is such a gorgeous place, it's a shame to
spend any time there GAMBLING, an indoor activity that is best
reserved for when you are in some blighted wasteland, such as...Las
Vegas.
