Harrah's offers from yesterday, gone today

A few weeks ago I played 1 hour at a Harrahs and lost significantly; I hadn't played in a Harrahs for a couple years. Wednesday I got an offer in the mail and decided to log onto their webside and see if anything else was there. I found a couple more offers, but more importantly I found I could get comped rooms at most Vegas locations. I spent a lot of time on their site looking at my options for a Vegas trip. The next day no comp rooms were available in Vegas at all that I could find! What happened?
   
  I haven't been following the Harrah's posts here for a long time, so maybe this has been covered before. Could someone please enlighten me? Thanks for your help.

Did you actually pick a date and try to make a reservation or did the room offers in the listing disappear.

Sometimes you can make a reservation for a room and have comp come up even if you don't have an offer.

Also, sometimes offers disappear when Harrahs does not have either room in the event for additional people (such as a tournament filling up) or may not have sufficient rooms available for your level of play to make the offer seem beneficial any longer.
