i actually prefer and always ask for the riverside hilton. for one thing,
it is on the river (hence the name), and it's fun to watch the barges and
steamboats go by your window (harrah's hotel is not on the river). second,
it's huge, so rooms are always available, no matter what time you arrive,
even early in the morning on the weekend (harrah's hotel is relatively small).
third, it is across the street from the casino, like harrah's hotel. and
finally--crucial to me--it has two outdoor pools (harrah's hotel, for some
very unfortunate reason, does not have a pool).

I need help/suggestions for NOLA. We are planning a trip in mid-November
(weekend unfortunately)...I am a low level diamond. I have received a room
offer for the time period in question but I would really like to stay at
Harrah's as opposed to one of their partner hotels. I do not have a host (I
don't know that my play merits one)but am wondering if anyone could suggest
someone to call to see about staying at the Harrah's location?
Secondly, if that's not a possibility does anyone have an opinion of their
partner hotels...is one better than the other...we would like a river view.
Thanks
