As previously reported, Harrah's Laughlin is changing out all their video poker machines, and some schedules have been downgraded. However, even on those machines that kept the same schedules, we've had terrible results. Played some triple play 25 cent bonus poker and lost $100 so fast it was jaw-dropping. Also played 10 cent 10 line 8/5 JB on the 50-play machines in the non-smoking area. Got absolutely nothing. Lost $100 quickly. Gave it another try the next day....same thing. And, thinking it must have just been bad luck, tried one more time. Same results....couldn't get anything. Money gone so quickly. Is it possible that new machines have been programmed with different "algorythms" (not sure if that is the right word). In the past, we were always able to get some fairly decent lengthy sessions out of those machines....doesn't seem to be possible any more. Over the past year (after removal of 50 play 9/6 JB) we've spent a lot of time on the 7/5 bonus five play 10 cent in smoking area, and have usually gotten lengthy sessions. Even a Royal or two, or three. 
Talked to a slot tech and he said within the next few weeks, those machines will also be "upgraded". But if "algorythms" have been changed, even with same schedule, do we stand a chance to win?
Really miss the 9/7 DB and 9/6 JB in non-smoking!
