I am glad to see that harrah's new tier is being discussed on this
board. The problem I have with this new tier is a. they are taking
away some of the advantages of being a diamond member by putting a
tier of people ahead of you in line. b. Some of the new services are
nothing but old servives you use to get under the pre june '03'
changes. 3. Many of the offers are available at a less frequent level
through their mailings. Why spend the time gambling when all you have
to do is time the coupons. 4. Most of the best freebies have not been
restored { free show tickets, extra meal credits, free upgrades, free
spa servive, free business servive}. I use to get all for free no
points at diamond level. 5. How many points are they looking at for
new tier??? If you have to play like a top casino gambler why not
just stay at the top casinos. 6. After the last change for
the "BETTER" would you really trust this company to honor it's new
tier system. As for the low rollers who like t-shirts etc. there are
plenty of casinos that have such give aways all the time for much
better play machine. I am a diamond club member who stayed many
times at harrah's vegas, rio, showboat, harrah's a.c. After the
changes last year I changed my play and told harrah's why. I have
seen no change in my Harrah's mailings { except cashback} to reflect
my lack of play. Why be a mistreated player there when other casinos
bend over backwards for my play and have positive play machines.
