Harrahs new system

I think we will just have to wait until we actually play under the new system
and do a better determination of how many $ it takes to equal points. My
personal guess is that the new system will not be much different from the old to
get food comps and just slightly more cashback.

The good thing is that comps will now accumulate and be bankable for
everyone, not just Vegas locals, and apparently good at all Harrahs casinos.

I just this in the mail today from Rio. These are the numbers for
various comps...

1000 $10 food credit at Rio/Harrahs
4000 2 on Lucas or Mac King tickets
4000 $40 food credit
5000 2 Improv tickets
8000 2 Showgirls or Skintight tickets
9500 Sun - Thurs Room Rio or Harrahs
12000 2 Scitas or Clint Holmes tickets
15000 Fri-Sat Room Rio or Harrahs
20000 1 round of golf at Rio Secco
250000 New Year "Extravaganza" for 2 at Rio or Harrahs

With these numbers, they better change the coin in requirements. I
dont know if they did since it takes the same 10k a year to acheive
diamond status. This is where the confusion lies... Anyone who can
score a free weeknight room at Harrahs is a diamond player??? Either
comps are extrodinarily tight, in the area of a $100k a day on VP or
diamond status is given to everyone. Once again Harrahs shines with
the clarity of their slot club!

But it sounds like there will be no same day cash back, which means

that cash is un-bankable and if you can't use your bounce-back coupons
on specific days or time periods you'll be s..t out of luck.

Got a mailer from Harrah's Shreveport. Has different specific points for comps. Other part of mailer explains tier card requirements; fine print at the bottom says tier cards are based on base reward credits. I take this to mean that all the bonus reward credits for play won't be included towards tier status, but bonus reward credits will count towards all comps. Kat
