New Orleans is not known as a hotbed of great VP opportunities.
I haven't ever played at Harrahs N.O., but have been told that they
do have some 9/6 JOB games here and there. Perhaps good for
generating comps or future mail offers. Unfortunately, this is about
the best VP game you will find in the New Orleans area, except for a
few NSUD games available at the Treasure Chest in Kenner (located
near the N.O. airport).
Whatever you do, avoid the state owned VP machines that you'll see in
bars and resturants in the area. These machines are "fair" - meaning
that they are required to deal randomly, but their paytables are such
that they provide a MAXIMUM theor. return of 94%. Yuck. Of course,
if you desire to donate some money to the Louisiana state general
fund, then go right ahead and play
