Harrah's New Orleans comps rooms at their partner hotels near the casino. We have stayed at 5 or 6 over the past three years. If you are diamond level call VIP services and they may give you a choice of hotels. The best I have experienced are Windsor Court, Wyndham on Canal and the W.
You can use reward credits at their partner restaurants such as Emeril's and K Paul. Every few months we receive an offer that includes room, partial airfare and restaurant coupons. VP is not that good but we do OK and enjoy the city.
